STOP THE TRADE

Wild parrots are being extirpated by rampant legal and illegal wildlife trade. Pet parrot sanctuaries and shelters are overflowing with abandoned, unwanted, discarded parrots or those which have outlived their human companions. Breeders continue to flood the domestic market with more.

The effect on wild birds is catastrophic. An estimated 10% of species will be lost.

We must end the trade in parrots as pets. Those which live with humans miust be given the best of care and husbandry for their lifespan, but we need to stop the trade in more. we need to cherish those living in freedom with their friends, amily, flocks and safe ecosystems.

NO MORE. STOP THE TRADE IN PSITTACINES.

NO MORE ENSLAVEMENT. NO MORE LIVING BAUBLES AND OBJECTS.
